ID : 7200
Name : Introduction to Dynamics of Vortices
Houres : 10 hr
Details : Vortices are a collection of more than one vortex, each characterizes by a certain elements of physical and dynamic property of a moving fluid.  They are all obeying certain laws in their motion and behavior.  This author spent 15 years looking and studying vortices and found that they behave more like human society in certain ways.  They interact, attract, and eat each other to combine in larger cells, and also they divide and expel the weak ones.  They always start and end at a boundary, and under normal condition they are dissipated and lose their energy, and eventually decay.  Vortex motion was known since 1858 when Helmholtz published his theorem about the three dimensional motion of the vortex filament. Society engineering benefits a lot by adopting more understanding for this magnificent piece of nature, and most of our students knows very little about it. Lectures introduce the student to the concept and applications of vortex dynamics
